Pshyc Evaluation Complete!

I had my pshyc evaluation today and I passed with flying colors! She said she was inspired by what all I have overcome in my past and how I am "In the process of reinventing myself". She stated that she would like to follow my journey through the lap band process and maybe use me as a case study. I think that is just too awesome. So I passed this part of the exam, Tuesday I meet with the surgeon himself and go over everything then on to nutritionist, exercise gurus and on and on....

The New ME!

I am going to start going through the process to see if I qualify for a lap band surgery. I sent in my registration paperwork to the surgery center in Springfield and I heard back today that my process looks good. So now I have to start their process of meeting with different doctors, therapist, nutritionist... they have you go through this process to make sure you are a good candidate and that you completely understand the process and what is expected of you in this life makeover.

So I meet one doctor tomorrow and then another on Tuesday of next week. I am really excited about this and I hope my insurance will work with me!

Once I learn if I am going to be accepted I will take a before photo and post it and then post update photos all along the way!

I really hope this happens for me! I am so tired of not feeling well and I know it is mostly because of my weight ;-)

LIfe Style Makeover!

I had signed up/entered the Life Style makeover with our local radio station back in January. Well I was picked as one of the top 25 contestants (out of over 200+) and had to go through the entire process of interviewing and attending the Women's show over the last weekend. My mom, Heather and the girls went as my cheering section. I didn't believe I would win as I didn't have the time to devote to the year long process as they would have liked. Oh well! I didn't win but as they say at the Oscars, "It was just an honor to be nomintated!"

The Women's show was fun, they had the Liverpool Legends from Branson there for entertainment and they were really good. They sound so much like the Beatles. They put on a good show.
